I've had one of these Nathan water bottles for about a year now, and I love it. I also freaked out when it spouted water through the straw like some of the other reviewers, but I quickly figured out how to deal with it. The issue is that is seals tightly when the straw is down, so as it warms up inside, the pressure increases. All you have to do is unscrew the cap a little bit to release the pressure first, rescrew, and then flip the straw up to drink happily with no mess.
My bottle has dented and chipped a bit from dropping, but it still works great. It now looks like a well-loved water bottle, which is part of the point, right? To keep a bottle for a long time instead of using the harmful plastic ones. I love the straw, the built-in carabiner, and the fact that it fits in my bike holder, my purse ad my messenger bag perfectly.
I'm about to buy my second one in order to keep one at work. I highly recommend this bottle.
